Electrification and automation upgrade for a roughing mill during a critical maintenance turnaround
IEI Services carried out the electrification and automation of Ovako Imatra's roughing mill as part of a nearly €15 million investment. The demanding 10 kV medium-voltage contract and extensive cabling were successfully executed during a five-week maintenance shutdown with zero safety incidents. The successful project is a strong testament to the expertise and capability of the company in managing large-scale industrial projects.
